ShieldLock

Terms of use

ShieldLock is a small tool for groups of men who hold each other to their goals. These are the few things you are agreeing to by using it.

Using ShieldLock

  • You join a Shield Lock by invitation or with its leader's approval. What you log is seen by the men in it — that is the point.
  • Be honest in what you log and decent in what you write. A leader can remove a man, and whoever runs ShieldLock can step in over abuse.
  • It is offered as it is, free, by one man. It is not medical, financial or professional advice, and it can be wrong or unavailable.
  • Your data is yours. What we keep, and who can see it says what is held and what you can ask for.

Text messages

ShieldLock sends text messages only to a mobile number you add and confirm on Your account. Confirming it is your agreement to receive them.

What we send
Your Shield Lock's weekly report, if your group has turned it on: every man's goals and how his week went, as pictures, in a group text with the other men. And, only if you choose them, reminders to log your day and a nudge when you have gone quiet. The confirmation code for your number.
How often
Message frequency varies — usually one weekly report, plus any reminders you have chosen.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, from your carrier. ShieldLock charges nothing.
Help
Reply HELP for help, or write to support@shieldlockapp.com.
Stopping
Reply STOP at any time and every text from ShieldLock stops, the weekly report included. Reply START to have them again.
Your number
Used only to send these messages. Never sold, and never shared with anyone except the service that delivers them.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
